Blue Phantom's fully ultrasound-fillable Select Series 2-Vessel Vascular Access Training Model is a lightweight and economical training tool that benefits any clinician in developing, practicing, and maintaining the skills associated with ultrasound-guided vascular access and arterial access. This medical simulator helps clinicians acquire and interpret sonographic images of vessels as well as develop the psychomotor skills to guide needles to simulated vessels. Ultrasound skills trained include: use of ultrasound system controls, transducer positioning and movement, recognition of vessels in soft tissue, and ultrasound guidance for target vessels.

Constructed with Blue Phantom’s patented ultra-durable tissue, this medical ultrasound simulator offers extremely realistic ultrasound characteristics and feels like real human tissue. Blue Phantom’s 2-vessel training model contains one vessel that bifurcates into two vessels – allowing users to image the bifurcation, follow the vessel course, and guide needles to the target vessel with ultrasound. When users correctly access the vessels, positive fluid flow provides immediate feedback.

The model works well with all ultrasound systems with appropriate transducer (recommended: high frequency linear array ultrasound probe 5.0–12 MHz). Use the model thousands of times without the need for replacement.
