Shoulder joint with muscles and rotating joints

This shoulder joint model consists of the upper half of the humerus as well as the clavicle and scapula. In addition to showing the musculature of the rotator cuff, the shoulder joint model also shows the origin and insertion points of the shoulder muscles highlighted in color (origin = red, insertion points = blue). The following muscles of the shoulder can be depicted and even removed to gain a clearer understanding of the shoulder joint:

- M. subscapularis
- Supraspinatus muscle
- M. infraspinatus
- M. teres minor

By removing the individual muscles, all movements in the shoulder joint can be performed, namely:

- Abduction
- Adduction
- Internal rotation
- External rotation
- Raising the arms in front of the body
- Lifting the arms behind the body
- Raise your arms above the horizontal plane and "make circles with your arms"
