Rescue Manikin Emergency Evacuation
If there was a real emergency at your nursing home and the people in your care had to be evacuated from the building, how confident are you that all personal emergency plans would be successfully implemented? If you use manikins for your emergency evacuation training, you can try out different scenarios so you can be sure that all staff are prepared to move someone safely with minimal risk.
Ruth Lee developed this training manikin following increased demand for a product suitable for the healthcare and care sector, specifically in relation to emergency evacuation planning and training. Having an emergency evacuation plan is part of your legal duty. Training ALL staff to implement the plan is the only way to be sure that the plan will be completed quickly and safely in a real emergency. This is particularly true if you need to ensure that both horizontal and vertical evacuation plans are effective.
Our emergency evacuation manikin provides a solution - it is light enough to be transported effortlessly between different locations, but is also heavy enough to provide a realistic challenge for those completing the training.
