DMM Steel Carabiners are attached to the strap straps 550mm above the top of the bag. Carabiners attached to a 3m x 50mm strap.

Construction
The base of the helicopter load case is constructed in two parts, an inner and outer. The outer base (bottom tray) is constructed with large radius corners to avoid damage to helicopter floors with sharp angled rails. The size is 635mm x 915 nominal 8 gauge made of Carbon Kevlar. The inner part of the base is constructed of 6mm ply measuring 610mm x 870mm. The bases are attached through the bottom of the case and through the straps with steel bolts with Nylock nuts.

Carrying handle
Six reinforced carrying handles are attached around the bottom half of the bag to assist with manual transfer of equipment.

One 48mm x 3m webbing strap for fastening or pulling purposes is attached at one end with leather fittings and can be stored in a zip pocket when not in use.

Two 48mm heavy duty straps extending 550mm across the top of the bag excluding carabiners for use in helicopter equipment transfer. Each strap is double thickness for extra strength and continues underneath the bag where they are bolted through from the base for extra security.

Reinforcement has been added between each strap to minimize spin of the bag during transport. Each strap has a DMM Steel Carabiner.

The carabiner's wide opening and excellent abrasion resistance make it particularly suitable for clipping onto steel safety lines or attachment points. It can also be used in any situation where a high internal strength is required; however, as with all carabiners, it is only suitable for loading in two directions along the back.

Lock-safe - The triple effect of the innovative lock-safe mechanism significantly reduces the chance of accidental opening and is an important step forward in improving the safety of automatic locking carabiners.

The carabiners are DMM steel carabiners (gold) and they have a super strength that is generally accepted throughout the world as being the strongest and most wear resistant available. All "Gold Standard" carabiners have exceptionally high strength due to their production from the highest quality alloy steel and careful "through" heat treatment. These features make them ideally suited for applications where high strength (far above the minimum set by international standards) is of the utmost importance.

Rubber band
200mm rubber band at the bottom of the bag, made of black PC350.

Seams
All seams are double stitched.

Label pockets
Two A4-ready label pockets are built into the bag for easy insertion and removal of A4-sized labels.

Color
The overall color of the bag is High Visibility Orange, the rubber bands and straps are black.
