The Choking Man from Simulaids comes with 2 foreign objects to simulate choking. The manikin works on the principle of air pressure generated through the correct procedures, abdominal thrusts or back blows.

Once the foreign object is placed, the trainee must use the physical features to determine hand placement and the amount of pressure required. When the exercise is performed correctly, the student is rewarded with visual confirmation via the expelled object.
