Burnt Torso
This burned torso was originally designed and made for military simulation purposes. It can be worn by both training dummies and regular patients. It is made of full silicone and has a mesh backing to prevent tearing or irritation.
The torso is designed for a trauma manikin such as a crash Kelly, ALS or similar smaller training manikins. It works well with clothing to cover the sides and back.
How to use the torso:
- For humans, it is best to wear a cotton undershirt under the torso. With training dummies, it can be used directly on the body.
- Use the longest Velcro strap to connect the sides at the back.
- The shorter straps connect the shoulders to the back strap.
- Wear pants/shorts over the torso and a shirt to cover your back and arms.
- Blood and dirt can be added where necessary. Mix blood with a little liquid soap to prevent it from beading up.
- GelFX can be used to improve wounds or to create more wounds.

- Velcro straps
- 100 grams of GelFX
Optional:
When you purchase a face overlay with this torso, the neck portion of the face can be cut to fit the torso.
Additional wounds on the face or torso can be added with our stick-on sheets. MP001 to MP018.
Torso can be ordered in different skin colors or with different types of trauma.
Cleaning and repair:
To clean, start by removing the Velcro straps and rinse the torso under the tap with warm water and soap if necessary. Dry the torso thoroughly before storing in a dust-free place.
Silicone can get a little greasy. If this happens, wipe the product with some isopropyl alcohol and dust it with translucent powder.
Silicone is a robust material that can last a long time. Most problems can be easily repaired with a repair kit.
