The ultrasound-guided CVC trainer offers excellent internal and external anatomical realism. Developed with BluePhantom's innovative LifeCast™ molding technique, the external anatomy is rendered in detail, and the internal anatomy corresponds to human anatomy – allowing you to practice and teach on this extremely lifelike model. Our specially designed tissue will never clog your needle and will always provide ultrasound images similar to human tissue without unrealistic system settings.

The lightweight and portable CVC trainer includes vascular anatomy, including the internal jugular vein (IJ) and carotid artery. Internal structures also include the trachea and clavicle, providing excellent realism with any ultrasound equipment fitted with a vascular transducer. The model is specifically designed for teaching and training in internal jugular (IJ) cannulation and supports both ultrasound-guided and blind insertion methods.

The vessels provide extremely realistic performance – arteries and veins can be distinguished via correct placement, arterial pulsation, and venous compressibility. Carotid pulsation is simulated with the included hand bulb, and the internal jugular vein is compressible as in a real patient. The model is pre-filled with simulated blood – red in the arteries and blue in the veins – for easy identification and positive feedback upon correct access. Refilling is quick and easy via the included QuickFill™ ports.
