The PPB Trainer P97 is designed to be an affordable, versatile and realistic birth support tool that improves the competence and confidence of healthcare professionals providing postpartum care and managing postpartum hemorrhage.
The Postpartum Bleeding Trainer offers accurate anatomy including the ischial spines, pubic bones and sacrum. For a realistic feel and texture in addition to lifelike softness, the vaginal canal and cervix are made of high-quality silicone.
The pump allows easy adjustment of the uterus to simulate an atonic or compound uterus.
The trainer will be useful for training the following procedures:
- Placental delivery, including incomplete
- Identification of postpartum hemorrhage: uterine hemorrhage, cervical hemorrhage (rupture), vaginal hemorrhage (lesion)
- Visual estimation of blood loss volume up to 1.5L
- Atonic uterus management
- Practice basic massage
- Practice bimanual compression
- Practice catheterization with a CH 14 catheter
