Eyewash and wound cleanser
250 ml. eyewash from JKL Medical contains 0.9% sodium chloride solution and has a rinsing time of approximately 15 minutes.
The contents of the spray remain sterile and can therefore be used repeatedly until the bottle is completely empty.
It provides a constant fluid pressure regardless of the position it is used in and is effective both as an eyewash and wound cleanser.
Eyewash stations should be hung and marked and be freely accessible so that they are easy to get to.
When working with chemicals, the data sheet describes how long the rinsing time should be.
As a rule of thumb, you can assume that 15 minutes per eye is enough, but there are products that require up to 45 minutes of rinsing time.
