Yellow Ultrasound Fluid BluePhantom – Thoracentesis Refill Fluid (235 ml)

BluePhantom's yellow ultrasound fluid has been specifically formulated as a refill fluid for the BluePhantom thoracentesis ultrasound training model. The fluid is formulated with acoustic properties that accurately mimic those found in pleural effusions and contains antibacterial and antifungal agents, allowing it to remain in the training model for extended periods.

During simulation training, the amount of fluid in the thoracic cavity may decrease as users access the effusion with needles and catheters, or when small amounts of air are introduced during normal use. Refilling is easy, and air can be easily purged from the system. Use of this original refill fluid is required to maintain the product warranty.
