The BluePhantom Ultrasound Training Model for Bone Fractures is ideal for training clinicians and students in the technique of identifying bone fractures with ultrasound. The model allows users to develop and practice the psychomotor skills necessary to achieve competence in ultrasound use. Ultrasound skills practiced include: using ultrasound system controls, transducer positioning and movement, recognizing bone fractures, and manipulating fractured bones to distinguish normal from abnormal image characteristics.
Constructed with Blue Phantom's patented SimulexUS™ technology, the tissue matches the acoustic characteristics of real human tissue and produces extremely realistic ultrasound images. The bone fracture model is available in two configurations: greenstick fracture or crepitus fracture.
This medical simulation model works well with all ultrasound systems with an appropriate transducer (recommended: high-frequency linear array ultrasound probe 7.5–15 MHz). The model is excellent for specialties such as emergency medicine, surgery, general ultrasound training programs, simulation centers, and medical education facilities.
