Conan, Obese Airway Management Trainer

This model simulates a patient with:

• Obesity
• Poorly palpable neck anatomy
• Grade 3-4 laryngoscopy view (Cormack-Lehane scale)
• Difficulty with ventilation via mask and bag-valve-mask

This allows for training in anterior neck access for participants with patients with poorly palpable anatomy, along with many other challenges associated with performing anterior neck access in obese patients.

Train most airway maneuvers on this model, including:

• Mask and bag-valve-mask ventilation
• Jaw thrust
• Insertion of oropharyngeal airway adjuncts
• Insertion of laryngeal mask airway
• Laryngoscopy
• Extremely challenging intubation
• The product includes:
• Conan model for anterior neck access
• 3 neck skins (embedded mesh and 3 incision points)
• 3 tracheae
• 2 adipose tissue pads
• 1 200g jar of adipose tissue
• 1 skin repair kit
• 1 silicone for tracheal repair
